Candy Coated Secrets

Summer Meadows has gotten herself in trouble again. And she was only trying to fnd a killer!  In this sequel to Fudge Laced Felonies, Cynthia Hickey has hooked me for good. I can't wait to read book 3. From the moment the circus came to town Summer felt something wasn't quite right. First she's drafted into leading a rambunctious elephant to the campgrounds where she finds a woman hanging from a shower spigot. Suicide/ Summer doesn't think so.  From a crazy elephant on a rampage to a gorilla stalking her, Summer finds herself in danger over and over again. But the love of her life is determined to stick by her side. A very nice twist at the end proved once more that Ms. Hickey is very skillful at stumping us. You won't be disappointed in this one. Fudge Laced Felonies

Oh boy! A mystery, a romance, and a candy store. Now this is my sort of entertainment. Follow Summer Meadows as she makes lucious chocolates, yearns over the handsome best friend she happens to be in love with, and goes after the crook who left diamonds underneath her rosebush. You'll laugh and cry with Summer. You'll also shiver as a murderer wants to make her his next victim.

This is Cynthia Hickey's first cozy mystery, Fudge Laced Felonies. Available now from. in most e reader formats.

The Cozy Mysteries are Available Now

Spyglass Lane Mysteeries launches tomorrow. Available for  purchase from and

The Wedding Caper by Janice Hannah.
Another Stab at Life by Anita Higman
Homicide on Bllue Heron Lake by Susan Page Davis and Megan Elaine Davis.

Here's my review of The Wedding Caper. (The Bridal Mayhem Mystery Series)

Annie Peterson is on a quest to discover who stole a $25000 deposit from the bank depository. She hopes that in doing so, she'll clear her husband of the crime. From the moment Annie signs up for an online course in private investigation until the satisfying conclusion Janice Hanna kept me thoroughly entertained. And maybe taught me a few lessons as well. The characters are delightful and so is the story. If you love a good cozy mystery, grab this book and a cup of your favorite hot beverage and enjoy. You won't be disappointed.

A New Home for Miss Aggie and Her Friends

For those of you who loved the Heartsong Presents Mysteries and Hometown Mysteries, and missed the sequels you were looking forward to due to the two lines shutting down, I have wonderful news. Soon many of the original as well as new ones will be released through an e-book venue.  Included in this new line are my first two Miss Aggie books, as well as the third book in the series, Rest  in Peace, Miss Aggie, in its original form. More news about this in the near future.

Another New Adventure

So, here I go again. A fresh start. Day one.

This blog will be writing related. I hope to include not only my own books, but those of other authors as well. An occasional interview would be nice too. Sure, I can do that.
About the picture, yes, I know it isn't fall yet. But I can dream. Can't you just imagine walking down this road between the gorgeous trees?

Stay with me as I learn to do this.. It'll be fun.
